Citrix Port Check Utility v1.0
Created Date: 8/22/2009
Updated Date: 04/01/2016
***Important*** - Citrix XenDesktop VDA’s do not listen for incoming ICA connections until a client is actually ready to connect as signaled by the DDC. As such, port checking utilities such as this one, cannot be used as a reliable standalone mechanism to validate the connectivity to Citrix XenDesktop VDA’s.
Citrix Port Check Utility is a command-line utility that tests connectivity to a host on a specified port. It can be used to test basic ICA connectivity against Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop machines; however it is not Citrix specific and it can be used to test any machine that listens on a port for incoming connections.
Minimum supported operating system: Windows XP
